We make hospital admission easy and stress-free. This guide walks you through the steps, what to bring, and what to expect, so you can focus on your care and recovery.

Getting Admitted Made Simple

  • Please proceed to admission counter located at Level 1 (Main Lobby).

  • Operating Hours:
    Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

  • For admissions outside these hours (including Sundays and public holidays), please proceed to the Accident & Emergency (A&E) Department at Level 1.

  • Outpatient registration is located at Level 4.

  • Operating Hours:
    Daily: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
    After office hours: Please register at the 24-hour A&E counter.

  • Pre-Surgery Admission
    We encourage completing pre-admission one day before the scheduled surgery. Same-day admission may result in room unavailability.

  • If you are self-paying patients, you may choose your preferred room type (subject to room availability).

  • If you are patients using Guarantee Letter (GL), you will be allocated to a room based on your room entitlement as stated on the GL (subject to room availability). You may also choose to upgrade your room by paying the difference of room rate.

Please present valid ID for registration. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with documentation. Verify your printed registration form. Update personal details if needed.

Consent forms must be signed. Patients under 18 require parental/guardian consent.

With Guarantee Letter: RM500–RM3,000
Without Guarantee Letter (Cash Payer):

  • Non-surgical: RM3,000
  • ICU: RM5,000
  • Surgery: RM5,000
  • IC / Passport / Birth Certificate
  • Insurance Card / Letter of Guarantee
  • Previous medical records (e.g., blood test, X-ray, mammogram)
  • Current medications (if applicable)
  • Personal items: clothing, slippers, toiletries
  • For maternity cases: baby clothing set
  • For insured/panel patients: LOG, authorisation letter, company chit
  • For international patients: valid passport/work permit

Meals are prepared by dietitians based on your doctor’s orders.

  • Breakfast: 7:00 – 8:30 a.m.
  • Lunch: 12:00 – 1:30 p.m.
  • High Tea: 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
  • Dinner: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

What to Know Before You Go

Discharge is upon your consultant’s advice.

  • Final bill prepared upon discharge confirmation
  • Cash payers: Billing completed in 1–2 hours
  • Insurance/panel: Up to 3–4 hours pending approval
  • Notification once billing is ready
  • Charges for missing/damaged items may apply

All patients, including those with insurance coverage or guarantee letters (GL), are required to settle or acknowledge their bills at the Inpatient Payment Counter or respective ward floors. Upon full settlement, a Discharge Slip will be issued. Patients are required to present this slip at the Nurses’ Counter to collect the following:

  • Medication
  • X-ray films
  • Appointment cards
  • Medical certificates (MC)
  • Other necessary documents
  • Between 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Half-day rate
  • After 6:00 p.m.: Full-day rate
  • Cash
  • Credit Card (Visa/Master)

Medication provided upon showing discharge slip. Follow-up appointments will be scheduled prior to discharge.

We update patients/families on billing for long stays. Our staff assists with insurance claims. Contact Billing Unit: 07-906 3114 (EXT: 101/122/121)

Overpayments are refunded:

  • Credit Card & Telegraphic Transfers: within 14 working days

Critical & Specialized Care Wards

We provide ICU, HDU, and Day Care Open Wards to cater to different levels of patient needs. These wards are designed for critical care, close monitoring, and short-term treatments, ensuring patients receive the right level of support at every stage of their recovery.

Visitor Guidelines

For Visitors

We understand that the presence of loved ones plays a vital role in a patient’s recovery. To ensure a safe and restful environment for all, we kindly ask visitors to follow the guidelines below while allowing our patients the time they need to heal. 

Visiting Hours

General Wards: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
ICU/High Dependency Units: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Number of Visitors

Limit of 2 visitors per patient at any one time to reduce congestion and ensure patient comfort.

Children Visitors

Children under 12 are discouraged from visiting unless necessary and must be supervised at all times.

Hygiene & Safety

  • Use hand sanitiser upon entering and leaving the ward.
  • Do not visit if you’re unwell (fever, cough, flu, etc.).
  • Face masks may be required in specific areas—please follow posted signage or staff instructions.
  • Our hospital is monitored by 24-hour CCTV surveillance. Security personnel are stationed at each entrance. Access to wards is controlled through secured door systems, limiting entry to authorised individuals only.

Gifts & Food

Kindly check with the ward nurse before bringing outside food or gifts, as some items may not be suitable for certain patients.

Special Circumstances

During outbreaks or health alerts, visitor restrictions may be revised for everyone’s safety. Updates will be communicated accordingly.

Emergency Situations

In emergencies, visitors may be asked to leave the ward temporarily to allow immediate medical care to be administered.

Noise & Conduct

  • Keep noise to a minimum
  • Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode.
  • Respect patient privacy and staff instructions at all times.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited within the hospital premises.

A prayer facility is located on Level 4 and is open 24 hours a day for Muslim patients and visitors.

Smooth and quiet lifts are accessible from the hospital lobby and on all car park floors for convenient access across all levels.
