Dr. Shapiee Bin Abd Samat is a distinguished Consultant General Surgeon with over 25 years of experience in the medical field. A proud alumnus of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), hecompleted his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1997. Driven by a passion for surgery, he pursued and obtained his Master of Medicine in General Surgery from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2006. 

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Shapiee has worked in several prestigious institutions, including Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, and Universiti Sains Malaysia. These roles allowed him to refine his skills in various subspecialties, including urology, cardiothoracic surgery, and pediatric surgery. He is particularly skilled in minimally invasive procedures, with a focus on laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries.

Currently, Dr. Shapiee practices at Hospital Pantai Batu Pahat, where he is renowned for his expertise in treating a wide range of conditions, including gastrointestinal disorders, hernias, thyroid diseases, and breast conditions. He is well-versed in performing advanced procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and thyroidectomy.
