Dr. Mohd Syafwan Bin Mohd Soffian is a dedicated and experienced ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), Head & Neck Surgeon who has served in both public and private healthcare settings across Malaysia. He began his medical journey with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Russian State Medical University Moscow, graduating in 2008 under a full scholarship from JPA. His passion for surgical precision and patient care led him to pursue a Master’s in Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS) at Universiti Sains Malaysia, which he completed in 2017. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Syafwan has contributed to the growth of ENT services at multiple institutions, including Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah, Kuala Terengganu, and Hospital Miri, Sarawak, where he also served as the Head of Department. His leadership and commitment to expanding ENT care earned him recognition for service excellence. He is currently a Consultant ENT Surgeon at SENA Specialist Hospital Segamat, where he continues to provide comprehensive ENT, head and neck surgical care to both adult and paediatric patients. 

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Syafwan is actively involved in community outreach, ENT awareness programmes, and national- level surgical workshops. He has a special interest in rhinology, aesthetic nose surgery, and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) management. Known for his patient-first approach and meticulous surgical techniques, Dr. Syafwan remains committed to delivering quality care and advancing ENT services in SENA Specialist Hospital Segamat.
