Dr. Mohamed Ajmal Haj Mohamed is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatrician with over a decade of experience in children’s healthcare. Born and raised in Segamat, Johor, his early exposure to community health challenges inspired a lifelong commitment to paediatrics. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2013 and later completed his Master of Medicine in Paediatrics from the same university in 2022, reflecting his academic excellence and deep dedication to the field.

Dr. Ajmal began his medical career with housemanship training at Hospital Segamat, rotating through various clinical departments including paediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, and emergency care. This foundational experience was further enriched through his service in well-known hospitals such as Hospital Tawau, Hospital Serdang, and Hospital Tunku Azizah, where he developed extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing both common and complex paediatric conditions.

Currently serving as Consultant Paediatrician at Hospital Segamat, Dr. Ajmal is actively involved in training junior doctors, conducting clinical audits, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. He is a certified instructor in both the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS). In recognition of his exceptional service, he was honoured with the Excellence Service Award 2024 by Johor State Health Department. His clinical philosophy is grounded in delivering holistic, compassionate, and family-centred care.
