Dr. Vilashini Balakrishnan is an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence- based, and patient-centred care for women across all stages of life.
She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master’s in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MOG) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), and subsequently completed a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In addition, she is a Certified Menopause Coach, providing holistic support for women through the transition of midlife.
Her clinical expertise encompasses:
• Obstetric care: Vaginal, instrumental, and caesarean deliveries
• Gynaecological surgery: Open and minimally invasive (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic) procedures
• Ultrasound imaging: Obstetric and gynaecological scans, including early pregnancy, fetal anomaly, and growth assessments
